Hearts in the Wind

I think it's like the chaff that is thrown up when sifting wheat.
We don't really think about it and so it drifts away, carried by the invisible arms of the wind.
Our hearts are like china of the finest that we must keep hidden inside of us. If we allow them to be exposed to the world, they can be broken, used, even abused and will always have a scar or two on them.
Girls sometimes allow their hearts to be carried away. They throw them to the wind so that any passers-by might catch their heart and break a piece off of it. They don't really mean to lose it all to people who truly don't care for it, but by throwing it to the wind, it is lost.
Dear reader, carry your heart safely. Guard it. Keep it whole and Godly. Your future mate will thank you.
Have a heart after God and seek His face daily. He will never use your heart for a wrong purpose. He will never break it or abuse it, although he may allow Satan to have a snap at it once or twice because you strayed...but only enough to bring you running back to His protection.
He will care for it and nurture it to grow into a swelling, loving heart that desires to please and honor Him.

Having a heart after God is far safer and wiser than having a heart in the wind.

              God bless!
                     -Serving Him
