This story begins at a small building on one of the back roads in a small town, the name of this place is called ARM. The purpose of ARM is to reach out to help those in need, to clothe those who are without clothing, to feed those without food, to replace items lost...ARM is a blessing to those who are needy.

One day, a van pulled up to the side door and a box was placed on the door-step, it was full of clothing and different other items.
On the door was a paper sign that read, "DONATIONS DROP OFF".
The box didn't sit there long, for a man with a bunch of keys came to the door and carried it inside.
Soon a woman was there sorting out the items in the box. She stacked the clothes on one side and the toys on the other, the dishes here, and the cans of soup there. Another woman came and took the food and toys to another room. The woman who had sorted them out, carried the clothes to a table with a bunch of hangers and began to put the shirts, pants, and dresses on hangers. She then separated the men's and women's clothes and hung them up on long racks of other clothing, waiting to be picked by someone who needed them.
On the second aisle from the front hung a white long-sleeved Talbots shirt. It is the shirt that this story is about.
About 10:00am the next day a Mother and daughter walked in, signed their name on the clipboard at the front desk and entered the area where the clothing was.
They looked and looked but the girl didn't seem to find what she wanted even though she carried an armful of pretty skirts.
Finally she spoke to her mother. "I can't find any white collared shirts here."
Her Mother said she had seen one on the second aisle, why not look there. The girl hurried to the second aisle and began to push aside each shirt, until she came to the Talbots shirt. It hung there proudly with all the dignity of silk.
Happily the girl took it from it's place and followed her Mother to the front desk where they turned in the hangers and carried their bags of clothes out the front door.
At their house, the shirt's sleeves were cut off and a new hem was sewn on them. It was once long-sleeved and stuffy, but now it blew light and airy in the Summer breeze wherever the girl wore it.
